Light of My Life

 
You brighten up my days

after months of pain and disarray.

You lighten up my life,

There you are, giving me the strength to stand tough.

 
You teach me how to be brave and strong,

You make me believe our relationship will last long.

I hope you won’t turn around,

or else I will fall on the ground.

 
Now that you’re here in my heart,

I hope you will always be right here by my side.

Now that you’re able to make me happy,

I hope God won’t take you away from me.

      No matter how hard things are going to be,

     I hope you know how meaningful you are to me.
